Hilltrek Outdoor Clothing is a small team who design and make outdoor clothes for use in the mountains, the glens, the woodlands and on the riverbanks. The Cairngorms National Park is our testing ground....and our playground too. We share a passion for the outdoors, whatever our particular sport. We work closely with outdoor professionals - to hear their stories, share their experiences of using outdoor clothing in all weathers. We believe in listening and creating; adapting our designs and developing new garments to meet the challenges our customers face of living, working and playing in outdoor environments all year round.
Our story started over 35 years ago when our unique garments quickly spread to the outdoor community in the North East of Scotland. Today with our expertise in Ventile Cotton Clothing and customisable products, we export to over 30 countries around the world. Our products are designed and manufactured in our workshop in Aboyne in Deeside on the edge of the Cairngorms National Park and are used from the polar regions to high mountains.
Ron McCombe is a full-time wildlife photographer living in the
Scottish Borders, near Hawick. Running workshops around the Borders
area, giving illustrated talks to interested groups, Ron also has a
large image library.

business and creative sectors. Partners Niall Irvine and Jacqueline Irvine
have considerable expertise in the fields of digitisation, photography,
design, image management and project management. We have seen many changes
in these fields and in technologies. This depth of knowledge lets us find
creative ways to help our clients, who range from individuals to public sector
organisations.
